Tobi Adegboyega

Pastor Tobi is the senior pastor of SPAC Nation, who moved to the UK from Nigeria over a decade ago. Now, he is helping young people by raising new generation leaders through peer to peer mentorship.

After encountering Samuel Akokhia he started to engage with even more young people in London who were often overlooked by society and deemed as misfits. Now, these young men and women have increased to over 2000 people impacting their community and causing positive change across 17 community hubs in London.

As a way of providing an alternative for young people, he decided to spearhead the initiative  Zuriel UK which is now known as  a highly successful London-based employment agency with the millennial ” disruptive” mission to rehabilitate disadvantaged young people through work. Since the start of Zuriel UK in 2015 we have built relationships with a number of organisations and partnered with multinational corporations including Microsoft & AON to create a platform that provides solutions to young people in society through hands-on mentorship with remarkable results.

The success of Zuriel UK so far is widely attributed the strong team led by Samuel Akokhia who currently occupies the role of Chief Operating Officer. Read more about Samuel Akokhia's story and the disruptive presence of Zuriel UK on our mentorship page.

Tobi Adegboyega and Samuel Akokhia  met with the mayor of London to discuss how the Zuriel Model is reducing crime amongst young people in communities in London through employment.

The BBC went inside SPAC Nation, a church led by Tobi Adegboyega and made a documentary about their impact in society.
